That's about how long I have been away from my blogging. I apologize and commit to doing better.
There are multiple excuses for not blogging. Want to hear them? Of course you do. My darling grandson has been with us and I have been getting up early -- 6:00 a.m.(Really, I am telling the truth) to prepare his lunch and transport him to camp.
Not buying that? What about I have been catching up on my annual medical exams? Seriously, I have almost completed all of my annual exams. I have the final one tomorrow and I will be free until this time next year.
What about this? I have been going to the doctor with my husband. No?
Would you believe I have been busy helping with the Women's Conference at church? I got up last week at the crack of dawn to go to support Jackie Hill, Jackie Hill Ministries, on Great Day Houston. I told Jackie that she was S-P-E-C-I-A-L because I don't get up early. She chuckled and said "I've been told that I am special!"
OK, OK, I give up. If ALL that I have talked about is not enough to convince you that I have been busy I am going to STOP right here.
Check back in a day or two to see if I am back on track. I need the accountability.
It's great to be back. See you tomorrow.

Baby Girl, Grandson and Sister
My favorite daughter (I only have one)and my sister are here with me. They came home for their cousin's/niece's graduation. In addition to my niece's graduation, my daughter's Godson is graduating. Hard to believe. My grandson was already here - I never miss an opportunity to acknowledge his presence!
The beauty of the relationship with my daughter and her Godson is that his mother and my daughter met each other twenty years ago today during their college orientation. They have remained friends for twenty years; "tagging" each other with love, support and just being there for each other. Talking about a wonderful friendship.
We should all be so blessed to have a long lasting loving friend.

Michelle the Magician
My former stylist had a plaque on her work station that read: I am a beautician not a magician!
I always thought it was funny and laughed about it for years. I also agreed with the saying until today.
My hair was wicked! I had it in a ponytail and I had on a baseball cap. Honestly, it was very embarrassing and horrible the shape my hair was in.
Normally, when I make an appointment I tell Michelle that it's time because my hair looks like a nest. When she sees me, she says: your hair still looks good. Not today!! Today, she said: I have never seen your hair look like this! I explained I have been walking and exercising and just had not taken care of my hair.
No worries, no worries, Michelle "tagged" me today. She worked her magic. My hair is gorgeous. She was a magician today. If you could see my hair, you would agree and help me find a plaque for her that reads: Michelle the Magician!
My relationship with my stylist is one to die for. Check her out -- you will love her and will not let anyone else ever take care of your hair.
Michelle the Magician and her might wand--her flatiron.
Thank you Michelle for your friend ship and caring for my hair

A grad and a college student
Today, I had one niece leave home for college and one graduate from high school.
My sister took her little baby daughter to college, UT Austin, for a summer program. My mother and one of my sisters were so emotionally distraught because to them it seems like yesterday she was going to Kindergarten and now she is in college.
She will do great.
My other niece was excited first because she was graduating and first again because her Grandmother and PaPa were here. She is excited about going to Freshman Orientation on Wednesday. Grandmother and PaPa are taking her to orientation.
Well, I will get prepared for Tuesday, that's PaPa's birthday.

Best Burgers
Tagged my husband with one of the best burgers ever. I do not like to cook -- not at all; however, today, I prepared dinner...hamburgers.
This was a burger like no other. Beef patty, bacon, ham, Swiss and American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. It was jumbo burger on a toasted bun. Yum.
Next, I think I will try to perfect tacos!!

Looking Good
My niece had her hair done today for her graduation from high school. She has beautiful hair and when Michelle finished with it it was beautifuler (I know it's most beautiful)
She is excited about seeing Grandmother and PaPa. They arrive tomorrow all the way from the Washington D.C. area.
Well, all I gotta say is way to go Jas. I am proud of you.
On a not so pleasan note, my grandson went home today )o:
